Re: the proposed traveller site at Goodwin Park, Southway, I agree with the letter from Mr and Mrs Sykes (December 24). This proposal is ludicrous in such a high-density residential area.
I'm quite sure that the travellers would agree. What they require is a site with easy access to and from a main highway. They do not want to trail their trucks and caravans through streets lined with parked cars. Residents do not need the burden of having to constantly watch their vehicles for fear of damage.See the full content of this document
