PLYMOUTH chewing gum firm Wrigley has been ordered to pay Pounds 171,000 after a worker suffered horrific injuries at its Estover plant.

Wrigley admitted failing to ensure the safety of its employees causing a worker to sustain injuries in an industrial accident, and yesterday the firm was fined Pounds 150,000 with Pounds 21,000 costs.
