A PLYMPTON woman has been given a suspended jail sentence after a jury found she had committed a Pounds 21,000 benefit fraud over a seven-year period.
Melanie Warren, aged 35 and of Woodland Drive, pleaded not guilty to a single charge of dishonestly failing to notify the Department of Work and Pensions that she was earning more than the permitted amount while receiving Carer's Allowance between January 13, 2002, and May 29, 2009.See the full content of this document
