PLYMOUTH Albion will start the second half of the regular Championship season rooted in the bottom four after suffering a 34- 10 defeat against Nottingham at Meadow Lane last night.

The match had pitted the eighth and ninth-placed sides against each other, but whereas Nottingham have now moved up to sixth in the standings, Albion find themselves two wins away from an all- important top eight spot at the halfway mark.
