Summary
Our website, The Wargraves Photographic Project, has been contacted by Jose Rey-Ximena seeking any information about living descendents or family of the crew of a Whitley aircraft of No 58 squadron.
Flying out of St Eval in Cornwall, it was lost on June 12 1942 while on submarine patrol in the Bay of Biscay. It was found crashed into cliffs by fishermen on the Galician coast in Spain, near the city of Cedeira. The intention is that there will be a local memorial in Spain on July 18 to remember the crew who lost their lives and who are currently buried in Bilbao.See the full content of this document
