Summary
I WOULD like to thank all those involved in the recent Dog Walk Mile on The Hoe on February 27, both friends and participants.
Between them they collected Pounds 740 which is being donated to the Commando Gunner Memorial, 29 Commando Regiment Royal Artillery. A recent letter from Major Greene, the Regimental Welfare Officer, thanked us for the first Pounds 600 cheque and said that the fund is now standing at Pounds 55,106. Please continue to give generously as it is an acknowledgement of our 'Heroes'. The next Dog Walk Mile will be in late June or July. All donations from this will be given to the Woodside and Gables animal homes.See the full content of this document
