B DIVISION MISSION accomplished! Tavistock booked their return ticket to the A Division when they trounced Barnstaple and Pilton by 65 runs at the Ring.

Clyst St George were in with a slender chance of catching Tavvy for the second promotion place behind champs in waiting Alphington, but only if Barnstaple won and they were victorious at Plymstock. Clyst lost by 13 runs which rendered Tavvy's win largely academic, not that they knew that at the time.
