It's not just your TV which may be affected by switchover: recorders may need updating too. When the switch to all-digital signals takes place, video and analogue DVD recorders will still play back and record, but you won't be able to record one channel while you watch another. If you want to continue doing this after switchover, the simplest way is to get a digital TV recorder.
