Summary
MRSA (meticillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) is a common skin bacterium which is resistant to a range of antibiotics.
An MRSA infection means the bacteria have got into the body through a break in the skin and multiplied. A bloodstream infection is a severe and dangerous infection, with around 20 to 25 per cent of cases proving fatal.See the full content of this document
