I'm grateful to councillors Pattison, Kerswell and Stevens for explaining (February 26) Labour's position regarding the proposed Gypsy site.
Can I take it from their letter, therefore, that if proper council procedures had been adhered to, and the administration had committed itself to greater public consultation, they would actually have no objections whatever to the proposals?
