A DEFIANT message has been delivered to defence chiefs over plans to scrap nuclear submarines in Plymouth: 'the fight starts now'.
Council leader Vivien Pengelly was speaking as the Ministry of Defence announced it will host a meeting in Plymouth on Friday over the controversial Submarine Dismantling Project.
