Summary


The first combined regatta run jointly by Tamar River Sailing Club and Saltash Sailing Club was a success at the weekend when four races were sailed in fine weather and with a southerly breeze.

The IRC class was dominated by yachts from the Saltash club and was won by Dave Oliver's Xtorsion8 with two wins from four races. It was a different story in the PY classes where yachts from the Devon club shone. In PYA Mark Hanley, sailing Excalibur, did well winning the first two races but was unable to hold on to winning ways on the Sunday when Paul Radgick's Firestorm Too took over to come first overall.
