I'd like to urge Plymouth readers who watched the London Marathon on TV and thought 'I want to be there next year' to register as soon as possible and run for Cancer Research UK.

I loved taking part in this year's London Marathon. I felt an amazing sense of personal achievement and pride when I crossed the finish line and knowing that I was supporting Cancer Research UK made it even more worthwhile.
