FORMER manager Peter Reid has sent a message of support to Argyle ahead of their home game against Macclesfield today. Reid will be looking out for the result as the Pilgrims try to end the long wait for their first win of the season.

The 55-year-old (pictured left) was dismissed by Argyle's acting chairman Peter Ridsdale last Sunday. That was after the bottom- ofthe-table Pilgrims suffered an eighth successive League Two defeat, losing 2-0 at Southend United the previous day.
