A SOUTHWAY man caught transporting broken vending machines was running an illegal waste disposal business, a court has heard. Phillip Packham, of Dunnet Road, was stopped by police on his way to a scrapyard.
An officer pulled over his Ford Transit van in Embankment Road on March 19, magistrates heard, and Packham admitted operating the business without having registered as a waste carrier.
