MARJON Plymouth Raiders crushed Worthing Thunder 108-74 to crucially clinch fifth spot in the final BBL Championship standings.

Yesterday's emphatic, 34 point victory at the Pavilions means Raiders finish the regular season with a 19-14 record and face 20- 13 Cheshire Jets in the first round of the seeded play-offs this weekend. Raiders entertain fourth-placed Jets at the Pavilions this Saturday (7.30pm), in the first-leg of the quarter-final, before Sunday's second-leg in Cheshire (5.30pm) less than 24 hours later. Had Raiders lost yesterday they would have finished sixth and instead played third-placed Sheffield Sharks this weekend.
