Pupils Help Top Up Food Bank

HARVEST celebrations at Hyde Park Infant School have resulted in a hoard of food which has been handed over to a Plymouth charity.

The children collected non-perishable foods such as pasta, cereals and tinned food for the Plymouth Food Bank, which supports families across Plymouth and the South West. Mrs Carpenter, Year 1 team leader, who co-ordinated the collection of items, said: "The whole school took part in a harvest celebration in the hall.
