Summary


A SERVICE supporting people as young as eight who look after family members is raising awareness of Plymouth's 'hidden' child carers.

The Young Carers Project is giving support to about 130 people aged between eight and 18. Young carers are children and teenagers who take on the responsibility of looking after family members who are ill, disabled, have a mental health issues or substance misuse problem.
