ROWETT INSURANCE ECPL LEAGUE CUP FINAL Plymouth Parkway...4 Torpoint Athletic...2 PARKWAY had to twice come from behind before lifting the Rowett Insurance League Cup in Sunday's final at Kimberley Stadium. Torpoint struck after 20 minutes when Guy Powney converted a Darren Hicks cross but Parkway restored parity three minutes before the break.
Dan Worth's fine pass put Lewis Young in on goal to fire into the top corner of James Sleeman's net. It was in the third minute of first half stoppage time that Torpoint restored their lead when Darren Hicks was brought down by Chris Thirkettle, as he bore down on goal, for Mark Sotheron to convert the penalty. The score remained the same until 15 minutes from time when Lewis Young fired Parkway level and, within five minutes, he had completed his hat- trick to give his side the lead for the first time.See the full content of this document
