SUNBEDS are coming under the spotlight as part of an initiative to encourage operators to carry out more supervision and make them safer.
The city council's public protection team is offering guidance and advice to operators as part of a county-wide initiative aimed at ensuring business owners and their staff have the information necessary to minimise the risks of using ultraviolet tanning equipment, such as skin cancer, cataracts, prematurely aged or sunburnt skin, dryness and itching, bumpy rashes and eye irritation or conjunctivitis.See the full content of this document
