Reading William Telford's exclusive headlined 'plan to salvage NMA's fortunes' (October 1), I believe there was always going to be a major problem of finance when the Regional Development Agency slammed the door shut on further taxpayers' millions of pounds and told the NMA to stand on their own feet.
To my mind it's never been a runaway success in its 10 years of existence, needing huge injections of public money pumped into the venue to try and renew interest. I believe it's a 'one visit, seen it, done it' venue.See the full content of this document
