A TEAM of young entrepreneurs in Plymouth is in talks with bookshops across the South West in a bid to get its series of children's novels on the shelves. Odyssey, the winning team in this year's Young Enterprise business competition, is trying to gets its series of books out to the public and has already persuaded Waterstone's in Drake Circus to stock them The company of 22 pupils aged 16 and 17 from both Devonport High grammar schools made its own children's novels, in which six and seven-year-olds drew the colourful illustrations themselves.
Adam Smith, 17, said: "The near future looks exciting. We're in talks to see our books in retailers across Devon and are speaking to a charity with the intent of co-creating Odyssey's first charity book."See the full content of this document
