Nottingham Add Tongan to Their Squad

Summary

NOTTINGHAM have signed a new back-row forward this week. Tongan international Sione Kalamafoni, who captained his country in the recent Pacific Nations Cup, has moved to Meadow Lane.

However, it remains to be seen if the 22-year-old will feature on Sunday against Albion. Nottingham's director of rugby Glenn Delaney said: "Sione Kalamafoni is exactly the type of quality player we were looking to bring in. This is a great opportunity for him to show everyone on this side of the world what he can do and also brilliant for us to add another very high calibre player to our squad." Nottingham lost former Albion lock Nic Rouse just before the start of the season when he moved to Sale Sharks.
