COUNCIL staff have been besieged by hundreds of people worried that they will lose their houses during the redevelopment of North Prospect.

Some residents claimed that drop-in events held yesterday to explain the plans were "a shambles". Margaret Storer said: "We were appalled with the way the meeting was held. One woman broke down in tears."
