A man who punched a youth he claimed had damaged a fence at his home has been told by a judge he should not have taken the law into his own hands.
Michael Grenney, 41, of Kirkstall Close, North Prospect, approached a gang of youths on March 14 and put his arm around the neck of one of them saying "I have been looking for you for some time", the court heard. Grenney then punched him around the head.See the full content of this document
