A MAN who punched a woman hard in the face has had his sentencing adjourned for the court to discover how badly she is injured.

Conliff Pompey, 44, and from Brooking Close, Hartley Vale, had admitted assault causing grievous bodily harm on April 12 when he pleaded guilty at Plymouth Magistrates' Court three days later.
