My husband and I would like to send our deepest sympathy and heartfelt thoughts to the family, friends and girlfriend of Ross Bickley, who was killed in a motorbike accident.
My husband was one of the drivers who stopped to help at the scene as he was travelling home from a night shift as a security guard at Tesco's Lee Mill. He sat with Ross and with the driver of the van until the ambulance crew arrived. As it turns out, Ross was also a friend of my younger brother Ashley, who went to Stoke Damerel School with him.
