Lending a Friendly Ear

Summary

A NEW 'advice line' for couples getting engaged, and worried about the zillion things to do to organise a wedding has been launched by local wedding planners Blossom Weddings. Under the scheme, Blossom Weddings has allocated a specific telephone number for anybody who has a question or needs advice. The advice is intended to focus on practical aspects, do's and don'ts, so that couples can avoid costly mistakes as well as float their ideas and get a realistic assessment. There are twro levels of advice line: for couple wanting just a one-off query - the service is entirely free. For those couples who want longer access, Blossom Weddings offers a paid-for forum, where couples can share advice both by phone and online. Charges are nominal and designed to cover the costs of running the facility.

Above all, the new weddings advice line will take away the fear factor of organising something that for a lot of people can be quite daunting.
