Larrieu Warns Pilgrims Must Quickly Regain Winning Habit

CLUB captain Romain Larrieu insists Plymouth Argyle have got to get the winning habit before the League One season starts. The French goalkeeper shrugged off any suggestions that getting good results in pre-season friendly games didn't matter. And he said that the squad should try to forget last season, when Argyle were relegated from the Championship. Larrieu was speaking after Argyle kicked off their pre-season programme with an in-the-end comfortable 2-0 win at Southern League Premier outfit Truro City. Goals from Yannick Bolasie and Steve MacLean sealed victory for Argyle, who face a sterner test at League Two side Torquay United tonight. Larrieu admitted the team had shown some understandable rustiness against City, who made life as difficult as they could for their League One visitors. "It was good. We showed some rustiness, but it's about getting the legs going again," said Larrieu.

"Losing a pre-season game doesn't mean the end, but it's important to win all your games to try to get a winning habit.
