Summary
DESPITE a very wet afternoon the August meeting was well attended. The president, Pam Rendle, welcomed members, followed by reports from the secretary, Margaret Lannin, who also read the minutes the treasurer, June Clements, gave the financial report.
It was decided to apply for the Awards for All grant. If successful it would help towards speakers fees and a bursary to Denman College. Also 2010 will be our 90th anniversary so we really should have a celebration to mark the occasion. Names were taken for the Group Meeting competitions and transport has been arranged for the visit to Orchid Paradise.See the full content of this document
