Summary
In response to Mr Holland (December 20), his letter appears to be no more than a personal attack on a letter by myself for no other reason than... well, I'm not sure. Maybe he's upset that I told him politicians are advised by more intelligent people than himself.
My letter did not state, anywhere, that voters are stupid. I merely pointed out that politicians have many experts advising them on many different subjects relating to their role as an elected representative of the masses. Is Mr Holland saying that we, the British public, should be advisers to every politician? That there should be a public vote for every decision the government makes? If this was the case, we'd all be very busy people... if anyone bothered to vote!See the full content of this document
