Hotels Miss Bookings Boom

Summary


THE South West's hotels are not enjoying a summer bookings boom, new research says.

The recession, unemployment, the Icelandic volcano and strikes at BA have had an impact, with 41 per cent of the region's hotels saying they have seen declines of at least five per cent in bookings, with 13.5 per cent of respondents recording declines of more than 15 per cent.
