Summary
THE Boys' Brigade movement was founded in 1883 by a 29-year-old Scotsman who was then a serving officer with the 1st Lanarkshire Rifle Volunteers, his name - William Alexander Smith.
Smith was also a Sunday School teacher in Glasgow and, along with many of his peers, was finding it increasingly difficult to keep young boys interested in attending on the Sabbath.See the full content of this document
