Summary
ON MARCH 2, on my way to a meeting, my car broke down on the roundabout at the junction of Stanborough Road and Elburton Road.
This is a very busy area, and I was blocking traffic from two directions. It was very embarrassing, not helped by other drivers tooting their horns at me. I rang my local garage for help. Meanwhile two kind gentlemen offered to push my car round the roundabout to a safe place, and before leaving, asked if I could manage on my own. I did not take their names, so through this letter would like to thank them very much for their smiling help. Within a few minutes, assistance came from Elburton Garage, my car was moved for repair, I was given a lift to my meeting and arrived only a few minutes late. My grateful thanks to you all.See the full content of this document
