Summary
I WRITE this, with the greatest respect for each individual's personal point of view, but I was appalled to read the thoughts and insensitive remarks of a former serviceman (retired) regarding the march of the Royal Marines through the city centre last week.
I am sure if they skipped, walked or cycled down Royal Parade, anything would have been better than not returning home, as several of this regiment sadly didn't. I am sure all the onlookers with pride in their hearts, and all the ex-servicemen, came with a good heart, not to be critical and pick faults, as this reader did.See the full content of this document
