BUSINESSES in Plymouth are being urged to back a Devon and Cornwall Local Enterprise Partnership in the scramble to replace RDAs. David Parlby, chief executive of Plymouth Chamber of Commerce, told a meeting of businesspeople that a letter needed to be prepared within a week setting out the city's preference.
The meeting, at Plymouth Argyle's Pyramid Suite, heard that the coalition Government had not yet spelled out how the new LEPs would be run, but seemed inclined to make them smaller than the current Regional Development Agencies (RDAs).See the full content of this document
