FILMS from a London festival will be shown in Plymouth as part of the annual Pride Event.
The organisers of the 23rd London Lesbian and Gay Film Festival have agreed to allow two of their films to go on tour to Plymouth. They will be screened on consecutive nights at the Jill Craigie Cinema, Peninsula Arts, Roland Levinsky Building at the University of Plymouth, on Wednesday August 19 and Thursday August 20. Both free entry events start at 7.30pm and the two features being shown are 'To Each Her Own,' a story of a young woman's struggle with coming out on Wednesday 19 and 'Nighthawks,' on Thursday 20, the story of a gay teacher who was shot 30 years ago at a time when society's tolerance was markedly different.See the full content of this document
