Taxi drivers will no longer be able to charge 40p extra for taking passengers from Plymouth railway station, if proposals by the council are accepted.
At present taxi firms have to win a tender to operate from the taxi rank at the station and are allowed to charge passengers an extra fee. Plymouth Taxis Co-Operative now provides the service.See the full content of this document
