A LOAN collector poured bleach over his head and claimed he had been robbed to cover up his own crime, a court heard.

Nicolas Gee, aged 35, pocketed more than Pounds 1,000 belonging to his employers and told police an attacker had snatched the cash. Plymouth Magistrates' Court was told he claimed that a black man with dreadlocks had thrown bleach into his face in a street in Stoke.
