Summary
It was a crime which terrorised Plymouth, caused widespread fear and alarm and left the female victim fearing for her life. Yet as The Herald reveals today, the harsh truth about the escape from custody of violent rapist and bomb hoaxer Kelly Edney is that it could - and should - have been avoided.
