Summary
I was interested to read Darren Jones' article about student noise in Friday's Herald. I think Darren is going to be one of the best Presidents of UPSU that we've had so far. I heard his speech on graduation day and I was very impressed.
There's no doubt that groups of young people late at night have sorely tried the patience and understanding of the local residents. Last weekend there was a couple having sex in the front gardens of Winifred Baker Court, which is a warden-controlled sheltered housing project. There was also much banging on windows at this complex late at night and people screaming and shouting at 4.30am on Sunday that no-one was going to tell them to stop screaming and shouting, so we could all go forth and multiply! And the residents of Whitecross Court, another sheltered housing project, couldn't believe their eyes when they saw lots of stark naked females outside a local pub doing press-ups!See the full content of this document
