WHY is it that when anyone makes an effort to provide something for the good of the city, there is always someone out there prepared to knock it? And why is it that when anyone has a whinge, they always have to exaggerate their case to make their point? Speedway is held in the season on Friday nights from 7.30pm until 9.30pm. There are 15 heats all lasting just over 60 seconds.
A recent letter-writer stated that her Friday evenings are ruined; that she cannot have her windows open and cannot go out into her garden because of the noise that lasts all of about 20 minutes in total.See the full content of this document
