REF C R Binley's comments about the Royal Parade underpass (Friday).
In it he said that the place smelt of urine and it was dingy and dark. He also said wheelchair-users could not use it. My wife was a wheelchair-user and I managed to push her up the slope OK. I think Mr Binley must be talking about a different underpass to the Royal Parade one. That was cleaned almost every day by the city, and I am only aware of one reported incident of people being mugged there.See the full content of this document
