IN RESPONSE to the letter from Paul Carey, managing director of MVV (June 8) headlineded People should be proud of waste facility plan, I would make these observations.
I feel Paul's comments justifying the incinerator at Devonport Naval Base missed the point. I understand that the reason for MVV using the location is for financial gain, to supply energy from waste combined heat and power facility for Babcock's use. This will be a captured market providing an income for MVV as long as Babcock is at the complex.See the full content of this document
