DERRIFORD has been fined Pounds 16,000 under tough new rules punishing hospitals for treating patients in mixed-sex wards.
Hospitals across the country have to pay Pounds 250 per day for breaching Government regulations which came into effect on April 1. Derriford has been penalised for 64 days of caring for individuals in mixed-sex accommodation during April, May and June.See the full content of this document
