Summary
I STUDIED the council's list of buildings that are to be sold and also details of changes to council buildings (March 21).
I feel it is regretful that some care centres and homes are to be disposed of; as when the cuts are felt, these will be needed more than ever. Also I believe the Pavilions should not go until a new skating venue is available, yet the city councillors have made a great decision to sell the present Register Office building and move it to Pounds House. In my view, this is an admirable place for weddings, spacious with many scenic parts outside suitable for brilliant photography of newly-wed couple. It is a great decision by the councillors, and should make many couples feel happy being there. am delighted that the now empty Parkside Community College premises are not being sold, but are to be used to hold history records of Plymouth.See the full content of this document
