A CONTROVERSIAL proposal to sell-off Plymouth's council-owned bus firm is not in the public interest, a national union leader has warned.
Jack Dromey, Unite deputy general secretary, gave his support to Citybus campaigners who had travelled to Westminster to highlight their opposition to the move by the city council's Tory administration. The 13-strong group were in Parliament to hear Labour MP for Plymouth Sutton Linda Gilroy lead a Commons debate opposing the sale of the bus firm.See the full content of this document
