City Women Face 'Unjust' Pension Plan

PRESSURE is mounting on the Government to ditch plans fast- tracking a rise in the pension age that will see more than 3,000 women in Plymouth face delays of up to two years in receiving their state payout.

Opponents have criticised the "injustice and discrimination" of the move which will hit those aged 56 and 57 the hardest, costing them up to Pounds 15,000 in lost income.
