PLYMOUTH marine, underwater and leisure equipment manufacturer Manuplas has invested Pounds 60,000 in a compactor system which will save it cash and stop waste going to landfill.

The Estover-based company is a specialist in making polyurethane and composite moulds but its process produces a large amount of light-weight foam waste.
