IN handing over a cheque for Pounds 1,250, Mark Christie, chairman of the Plymouth Area Surveyors and Estate Agents Association said it was "a great pleasure" on behalf of the association, to present this charitable donation to both Help the Heroes and Horizons.

Due to Plymouth's traditional links with the Armed Forces, Help the Heroes was one of the more apparent charities picked by the members. Lisa De-Lar, a representative for the charity, was delighted with the donation and welcomes the support given by the association.
